What to Expect
The doctor will perform the procedure under sterile conditions using small amounts of the prescribed product for the affected area. No local anaesthetic is required for this procedure, however you may feel a slight stinging sensation for a few seconds.
Will I need to repeat the procedure?
The effects of this procedure will typically start within a few days and can last for several months, although the duration of the effect may vary from person to person.
What do I need to do after the procedure?
Avoid strenuous physical activity, excessive heat or cold for 24 hrs.
Avoid touching the site for 4 hours after the procedure.
Take paracetamol as required.
